Our goal is to "Teach n Release" parents to be the BEST ADVOCATES they can be on there own. To train parents with new knowledge and to feel confident enough on their own, for the many years they will be ADVOCATING for their son or daughter!

Our Advocates

Our Advocates have first hand experience because they are parents navigating the Special Education Programing also!

Our Advocates have been active and involved in the Special Ed. arena and Disability organizations since 1999. Belong to and are affiliates to NDSS & NDSC.

Our Beginnings...

DS Advocates grew out of a need from parents asking for help...helping them to understand the whole IEP process and going with them to their IEP meetings, so they weren't alone and had someone with them to help make sure things were going as they should.

Teaching Parents to feel confident and to rise above the feeling of being nervous, upset, scared, confused as to what is really going on at their meetings!

TEACHING Parents to be the confident & strong Advocate they need to be for their son/daughter for a lifetime!
